Piping Schools
Three North Carolina summer schools have offered instruction to hundreds of pipers in the last 50 years. The first was the Highland Arts Camp, later renamed the School of Scottish Arts. The second was the North American Academy of Piping, later renamed the North American Academy of Piping and Drumming. The third was the Balmoral School of Piping and Drumming, later renamed the Balmoral-Duthart School of Scottish Studies.
